January Beauty Finds

Its a New Year and every year I use this time to reset and start fresh in multiple areas of my life. Including my beauty routine. So on January 2nd, because lets be real no ones going out on new years day lol, I trekked out to the mall with my daughter, sister, and cousin to see what was new on the rack at Sephora.

The first thing I picked up was my “winter shade” in my trade and true fenty beauty hydrating pro filt’r foundation. Ya girl has THIRSTY skin and I always die to look like the dewy goddess I wish I was, while also having a buildable coverage. So when I came across this foundation I was like THIS IS IT!! I’ve worn this foundation for a few months in the heat of Florida summer, on a cruise in the Caribbean, and now through the “colder” months in Florida and I love how it wears in all environments! It gives you that natural glow everyone so desperately searches for while also being pretty full coverage. I used to be an Estee Lauder Double Wear girl but I realized how drying and bad for my skin it was, personally.

Next I picked up a MILK Cosmetics Mascara and let me tell you!! I am LOVING it so far. Its not clumpy, its buildable, and the brush is sturdy. And its BLACK!

I also grabbed a new Patrick Ta Creme Lipstick and Lip Liner that I’ve been wearing not stop lately!

And last but not least I grabbed a Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finishing Powder because I’ve heard great things about it and for those long days (or you girls who may be on the oilier side) I needed a touchup powder. So I’ll recap on how I like that in a future post!
